4 more days to our wedding. I have people asking me everyday if im excited or looking forward to it. Frankly speaking, im still feeling nothing as of yet. Instead, im more worrying about things not done or well prepared.

Based on my checklist, i got everything covered already lah but knowing me, i will super worried until the day itself de loh.

I just hope it will be smooth and NO RAIN!!!!! Weather forecast say will rain on Sunday so im really keeping my fingers crossed.

Huiling just emailed and said the bottle opener that we chose is out of stock. so sad, i really like that. Anyway, there is a replacement lah. Also bottle opener but not as cute. But then still ok lah.

I’m having random thoughts here and there, so scared i will miss out anything.

What else do i need to do??? I edited my songs for march in, burn the background songs to test out this Sunday at NCQ. Will probably go through 1 more round of menu and stuffs with Huiling. – tested montage and songs at NCQ

Liquor wise, we only got 2 bottles, still need to go find another 1-2 bottles.

Ang Bao box already borrowed from bestie.

Photo montage (for looping) is done, waiting to burn to DVD. I can’t seem to burn, probably need my FIL’s help. The ANG has informed the brothers to wear white in the morning while my sisters are wearing yellow and the corsages are collected already.

Have already booked the mani & pedi service, going facial 6 days before the day, massage on 23rd before going for final fitting.

Will be meeting the JMs next Sat to finalise the schedule, go through MC script with Kel and Min, as well as confirm the gate crash items.

We are having the rehearsal and the testing of montage and music at NCQ this Sunday and i have yet to compile the songs. I still need bestie to help me edit one of my march in songs.

I have to to burn my bridal photos in DVD as well, or should i play from my lappy? I was thinking since they have DVD player just use player and settle can liao. hmm

Have also told Dana some of the hairdos i like, but i guess will still see her on 23rd at the fitting then discuss with her in details.

I haven been feeling very enthu about the wedding….dunno y….maybe its cos my mind is always on work work work. Anyway now that its 24 more days to our wedding and i HAVE to settle alot of stuffs…and also talking to people preparing for their wedding at the same time, i’m finally slowly getting into the mood.

Most of the stuffs are done, GDL/AC is 2 weeks away, still need to buy a couple of stuffs, stick the XI stickers on and i guess we are ok.

The most troublesome is the guest list……hahah forever changing and changing….i think till the day itself still will have changes ba.

And i’m having doubts on the EG, scared too long as Ada adviced…maybe go Julia go try 1 last time ba.

3 months before wedding:

I searched online for recommendations for Buffet and alot of ppl recommended Neo Garden so i selected the package i want.

Also went to check out the 2 other companies under the same group and found more options. Will let The ANG make the decision.

Big disappointment!!! I alwaes swear by Julia’s gowns, telling ppl how nice their gowns are but today i super upset. Tried on about 20 WG & EGs and i only like 1 WG and its like i’m not 100% satisfied with it.

EG wise, i only managed to shortlist to 2 pieces, bronze and light blue which at last i chose the bronze one. BUT now, after chatting with Ada, i realised my table cloth for the ballroom is dark grey. Wonder will it clash. I like the blue one oso. Haiz indecisive. I think i might have to go back and choose again.

In fact, i HAVE to go back cos i just realised we haven choose the bridal bouquet and car decoration. -_-”

Super sian…..should i go back and changed to the blue one? or stick to the bronze one?

It seems like there are alot of things not prepared yet. I better make a check list.

Today we went for my food tasting and gone through the details with our coordinator Huiling.

I heard a lot of stories about her, being Miss No and whats not but i find her quite friendly, my first time meeting her cos previously was handled by Jamie.

Anyway, we went through the list on what we have to do on the actual day itself as well as to choose the the table cover and favors. For VIP, we decided to be good and get RED. Haha confirm wun go wrong with the elderly. As for the rest of the tables, we gotten dark grey.

Favors wise, she showed us quite a lot of options and i took a very short time to confirm. I just told her to keep away those very common items like bear, soap, pepper and salt container. So those that were left, its easier to choose. I ended up getting 2 very funny things. 1 heart-shaped mirror and a bottle opener. Ha Ha

She went on to show us the decor and i still cannot make up my mind. I can choose between crystals or fresh flowers. I’m thinking to get a combination but have to decide the flowers colors. I dunwan the red one leh…like very obit cha cha but suits the occasion lah. I think i need to consult my sisters for opinions.

Oh music, i still haven confirm. Well i will most probably be using their 1st dish presentation. Huiling said got 3 songs to choose:

Maybe sway? cos thats the song i like most among the 3 hahah. background music they only have music no songs, so i will prepare myself ba. Better dun take chance, i will go before my wedding to test out the songs and the photos.

Not easy can~ planning for a wedding, anyway yesterday i cooked my 1st ever meal in the new place. I should say cook cos all i did was fry the hotdogs, ham & eggs….prepare the steamboat food and cooked rice…yes i managed to cook rice Ha Ha super kan cheong….but i guess i did ok.

The sisters and the brothers came over for steamboat and recreation read: gambling hahaha it was very enjoyable but the cleaning up was kinda scary. Lucky bestie helped me after the MJ session when the guys were still in their games.

Went up today to do another round of cleaning….i hope the constant cleaning equate to a bit of exercise as well hahaha.

The house is finally fit for staying. Ha Ha Well i mean all necessary stuffs have been purchased and we can stay in anytime but nope, i will still stay in my parents house til after wedding.

I have til forever to stay in our little house but only 3 months left for me to stay with my parents so yeah thats where i will be for now.

But nevertheless, we have been going back home daily to just water the plants, watch a couple of dvds and what else?? MJ of cos hahaha

This weekend, the gers will be coming up for steamboat. Haven really prepare the food yet. Well technically speaking, the pot oso haven buy yet…..saw 1 in Chong Pang, will probably get from there.

Anyway, why my title?? I have been a lucky child…..major houseworks are done by my mummy and we only need to maintain our own rooms and yes i in my 27 years, have not tried and do not know how to cook.

Apparently, we need to cook something on our official move in date and im no having a headache what i should cook. I probably will just cook a pot of soup. And i stunned The ANG by telling him “I dun even know how to cook rice” ……. unbelievable but very much true. I dunno how much water to add to make the rice just perfect.

I think i really have much to learn….time to buy some recipes books.

I was chatting with a friend online and we tok about kids and stuffs….we were chatting about what is the best age to have babies and how we think its impossible cos so busy with work etc etc (silly i know)

I want to name my kid as Ethan if its a boy and Eleanor or Eugenia if its a girl in the future. No particular reason…just like it. Well technically its I like it and not both me and The ANG like it….

Based on experience, my taste and The ANG taste alwaes differ so well hahahah.

I have ppl asking me about my house status. Yes, everything is done and cleaned up!!!! Yeah!!!

I will probably go choose my invitation cards design this week then print the inserts ba. Have drafted a tentative guest list and will edit from there.

Next i need to let my JM know what color is my theme for their dresses. Im thinking either yellow, turquoise, or the safe white. hmmmm

Actually very stressful…a lot of traditions to follow, feel even political about it. Just hope everything can be done smoothly.

After 11 weeks of renovation, our house is finally done. Today there were still some rectifications and although i wun say im 100% satisfied, i really glad and happy that the house is done.

There might be some hiccups here and there, quarrels and unpleasantness between me and The ANG, us with Andrew, but at the end of the day, the house is completed.

Cindy also came up to install the curtains and the blinds. The unker is super sut de loh….hand leg damn fast.

We started our cleaning just now. Only sweep and mop the floors for about 3 times. Tml have to work on the rooms. I hope can clean up everything by Sunday as the furniture are coming on Monday.

I have already lost count of the days of reno. Yes, my reno is still not completed. Or should i say, my reno is long completed just that the rectifications are not done.

As of today, we are only waiting to re-paint the entire house and some nitty gritty changes. Paint need to redo cos our paint when you stick masking tape and peel off, the paint comes out with it. Hope after painting again with undercoat will be ok.

Cindy will come n install the curtains next week. Our target is to HO by Wednesday. My furniture are coming next Monday.

I just wish everything can be settled soon. Reno is really a very tedious process.

Yes, after 50 days of renovations, my house is done. Yes, all items are installed and done.

Now is the period to do checking. Already spotted some items that needs to be changed.

Very happy to see the house transformed. I cant wait to have all the furnitures shifted in.

Counting down to embark on a new stage of life. And my mid year resolution (its lame but i dun care) is to learn how to cook. Ha Ha the kitchen do until so chio cannot possibly be a white elephant right??

My reno is almost done~ Still need the 2nd coat of paint and to fix the rooms doors, other than dat, all works are done.

But The ANG wants to check through the house again especially the tiles cos after its done, it was covered up by the cardboard so we have yet to check.

My guess is should be able to complete all remaining works by next week and give a week or so for checking n refinements (if any) probably should can handover by 13th ba.

Curtains are ready but we will wait til EVERYTHING settled le then ask Cindy to come install. Should be the same day the furnitures are delivered.

Super excited to see the glass backing and the partition up today. The kitchen is like super chio can~~ haha

Toilets shower screen and doors are installed as well.

Cove lightings installed underneath the show cabinet and the partition, at first we were all worried might feel compressed as the glass is 1 fucking huge piece but i think cos its transparent so its ok.
